Vargas Joins Real Internacional

We are delighted to announce our first academy signing for the 2024/25 season. Carlos Vargas, a young shot-stopper from Atlanta, Georgia, looks to make the difference between the posts as he joins our academzy program.

Academy Co-ordinator & Head Coach, Juanma Bullejos, had the following to say:

A young goalkeeper of Carlos' calibre is hard to come by, yes, he holds experience in MLS NEXT and has competed at a respective youth level within his country, but we strongly feel that we can help him make the jump necessary to reach his goals as an individual. His stature and general attitude throughout the whole recruitment process has been exceptional. I myself look forward to working with Carlos alongside Fran (Academy Goalkeeping Coach) to see at what lengths we can push Carlos long term.

Carlos will incorporate himself into our academy program as of September 2024.
